Welcome to Chris' Canine Club, where we treat your pets like family!  


Hi, I'm Chris – the heart behind Chris' Canine Club.  What began over a decade ago as a favor for a family friend has evolved into a trusted, full-time pet care business serving numerous families and their furry companions.


It all started when a close friend, recently retired with two full-grown German Shepherds—Bella and Roxy—wanted to travel without worrying about who would care for their dogs.  I stepped in, and from that moment on, I knew caring for animals was more than a favor—it was a calling.


In 2021, Chris' Canine Club officially opened its doors in response to the growing need for in-home, kennel-free boarding options.  Increasingly, families are seeking alternatives to traditional kennels, and we're proud to offer a loving, home-based solution where dogs can relax, play, and truly feel at home.


Here, your dog becomes part of our family.  Our guests have full access to a large, securely fenced yard to run and play, as well as our climate-controlled home to rest and recharge.  They'll also enjoy the company of our two German Shepherds, Ruby and Ralph—the true faces of Chris' Canine Club.


We're more than just boarding—we're a full-service dog care provider. From overnight stays and doggy daycare to drop-in visits, walks, potty breaks, and meal times, we're here to support you and your pup in any way we can.


It's just me, along with my hardworking parents behind the scenes, making sure every dog receives the attention, love, and personalized care they deserve.  No two dogs are the same, and we take pride in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment so your pet can enjoy their time away, and you can enjoy your vacation stress-free.

Meet the Owner

Christopher LaColle

PET CAREGIVER, FOUNDER OF CHRIS' CANINE CLUB

Chris is a passionate and experienced pet care provider who brings professionalism, heart, and a strong work ethic to every aspect of his business. With over a decade of hands-on experience in pet care and dozens of happy, loyal clients, Chris has earned a reputation for providing safe, dependable, and personalized care to every furry friend.


Before founding Chris’ Canine Club, Chris built a successful career in the hospitality and food service industries. He studied Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Johnson & Wales University, where he completed an internship at the Mountain Club on Loon in New Hampshire, helping to run the kitchen for two restaurants and five banquet halls. He later returned as the Food Service Supervisor, overseeing front-of-house foodservice operations for the entire resort.


Chris went on to work as a head waiter at a restaurant in Chapel View, Cranston, RI, and later as the Assistant Food Service Director at Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA. Eventually, he returned to his very first job in dietary services at a local Rhode Island nursing home—this time as the Food Service Director. In total, Chris spent 15 years there (including his time in high school), with the last seven years in a leadership role managing staff, overseeing dietary plans for residents, and ensuring high-quality service.


In 2021, Chris made the leap to turn his long-time passion for pet care into a full-time business. What started as helping friends and neighbors has evolved into Chris’ Canine Club—a fully insured, home-based dog boarding and daycare service dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and loving environment for every pet.


With continued growth and plans to expand to a larger property, Chris remains committed to delivering top-tier care to dogs and peace of mind to their families.
